Can i get a review of this camera please?

I'm considering buying the Nikon D7100, i'm an amateur albeit quickly learning and aspiring pro photographer and i want a good camera but not ready for a full frame and all its expenses just yet

i have read many reviews online but would like some on here as well

so, can you give me a brief review of the D7100 please?

One thing you can be rest assured of is that whatever entry level DSLR you go with, it'll be good. I don't know of any bad DSLRs.

You can really end up getting yourself bogged down with all these review sites and the minutiae of ratings for this and that, and ratings that differ by nothing more than a few percentage points. What I suggest you do instead is go into a proper camera store, and get the camera physically in your hand, and see if you like it.

You are not going to get a "review" here, you will get OPINIONS. Online reviews from well established sources with lab tests for FACTUAL reporting are far better than people spouting off here that "Nikon is great and Canon sucks" nonsense. Go to places such as Digital Photography Review to get true, objective, accurate tests / critique / reviews of cameras.

ADD: Agree fully with BK. In a hard, by the numbers lab testing, one camera may show a minuscule advantage over another, but in the real world all that stuff can be meaningless. Your commitment to increasing your skill is FAR more important than which camera has slightly better "specs" than the other.
