Best point and shoot for a concert?

I'm going to a One Direction concert next year and I'd like to get some photos (last time I couldn't because currently I only have a Nikon DSLR and the tickets said no "professional" cameras allowed)

Could someone please recommend me a point and shoot that would do the best job in a concert setting? Any price.
It will need a good zoom and HD video recording.

I don't know how close I'll be to the stage yet (still sorting out tickets).

You didn't give us a budget, so I'm going to recommend the Powershot G1X.

Update - Sorry didn't see that. Vinegar recommend the P510 - I disagree with him, though. Even though the P510 is a Point & Shoot camera, it looks like a DSLR. And since concert venues consider any DSLR "professional," they might take it from you.

The G1X is almost 800 bucks… Don't spend that much - consider buying a Coolpix P7100.

You might want to check out the new Samsung EX2F. It doesn't have very much tele reach (80 mm equiv.), but getting close enough is the photographer's job anyway, not the camera's. It does have, however, the fastest wide-angle lens opening (f/1.4) of all current P&S cameras, a useful high iso extendable to ISO 12800, and Full HD video w/ stereo sound recording. The swivel display might come in handy when shooting overhead in a crowd.

When purchasing any electronic device on a budget it is important to shop around and do as much research as possible this way you ensure you get not only the best quality product but also the best price.
