**note: this is under $200 and just for a teenager for everyday use. Nikon S400.

YES, it seems the data of an average NIKON.
There are Nikon models with 39 megapixels yet, but if you say it's for a teenager it's allright.
The only drawback is the 50 MB memory, that's nothing Vanilla. With that the 180 shots maximum the battery allows means if you have set up the images for at least a resolution of a minimum 1 Megapixel, you just can shot less than 50 pictures before your battery is drained. You need to look if the camera allows memories of at least 64 GigaBytes.
The rest makes a fine camera.
