Any compatible lens hood for the Nikon 35mm f1.8g?
The hood that came with the lens is useless. Its too shallow, it does not help w/ flare at all.
The lens hood that came with the Nikkor 35 mm f/1.8 is exactly the hood your lens needs
Any other hood will either cause vignetting or not do its job
If you still get flare using the lens hood Nikon supplied, you need to look at your skills as a photographer, not engineers who designed the lens hood for that lens.
My guess is that you are shooting in situations where no matter what lens hood you use, you will get flare and/or ghosting
Have you popped the hood forward? It is rubber and folds back out of the way. You need to pull it forward to give some shadow to the lens.
