A good professional camera? - 1

I want a professional camera for my sixteenth birthday/ Christmas present. However I want to find a camera that ranges $200-$700. I prefer Nikon or Canon.

What is your definition of a professional camera?
if you have no knowledge about camera, it is disaster when you have buy a real professional camera, Digital Single Lens Reflex with a lot of money. And you are hating it gradually due to the weight
and size.finally, it will be your cabinet forever.
there are only two ways to chose.
1.becoming a professional.study the knowledge about cameras and enjoy it.
2.buy a cute camera you think. And it is light, small and portable.

Canon T3i (if you do a lot video), or nikon 3100 (i like it since i'm a nikon shooter).
check out that video for comparison.
they are both really good dslrs
so yeah GL and enjoy
merry xmas/happy bday

No Nikon or Canon professional camera will fit your budget.
Nikon professional D3X, $7, 900, no lens.
Canon professional 1DX, $7, 400, no lens
How about a nice entry level camera like the Nikon D3100 or Canon T3. The better entry level cameras still cost under $1, 000 bit more than your $700 budget. They are the Nikon D5100 and Canon T3i/600D.
Here is how those cameras sensors compare.
