Which brand is better in dslr?

I'm confused that why are canon dslrs are higher priced than nikon dslrs though nikon takes over canon in both price and performance (according to the reviews!)… I'm thinking of buying a dslr… And i thought canon was the best… But now i'm confused with these 2 brands… So which is better and user friendly?

You are going to have to depend upon the professional reviews found on DP Review and spending some time in a proper camera shop "speed dating" the Nikon and Canon cameras

Since both Nikon and Canon camera systems are the predominant cameras used by the pros, both have a vast number of lenses available for them as well as unique accessories.

I'd take Pentax over either, but if you really think one is better than the others (and only know two manufacturers) you aren't ready for a DSLR. Sony's SLTs do better video, in any case.

ALL DSLRs take time and effort to master, the world won't end if you buy the, 'Wrong,' one, nor will the, 'Right,' one magically transform you into a photographer.

At this stage, buying a DSLR would be a waste of money, because you don't know enough about them.
