Nikon easyshare z712 problems?

So my friend was carrying my camera & dropped it. & now it won't turn on, at all, I mean it'll make tiny noise & the on/off button will flash but the screen won't brighten or anything. The lens is stuck halfway out & won't retract, I've tried new batteries & twisting/turning the lens. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

I think you need to look again at your camera

EasyShare is made by Kodak, NOT Nikon

It was made in 2007 so it is five years old. It could be that you need to buy a new camera.

The camera can't be repaired easily, and to do so will cost more than it is worth.

It's time to buy a new one.
