Kodak EasyShare Z812 vs nikon d3000?

Ok, my friend and I have been arguing about which camera is better.
I believe the nikon d3000 is better.
She thinks the Kodak EasyShare Z812 is better.
(well because she has one)
Which one do you think is better?
And why?
( I kinda abused the word "better" in this question, haha sorry about that.)

Have a cruise around old YA questions - the amount of people having problems with their Kodaks compared to other brands (apart from Vivitar) is staggering.
I wouldn't touch a Kodak with bare hands if you GAVE it to me.

Point-and-shoot versus dSLR. Cost, the Z812 wins hands down. Amount of control and overall image quality, the D3000 wins hands down.

I have to disagree with your friend.although some point and shoot cameras can almost match DSLR's image quality, I think that kodak is not one of them.although d3000 is a bit noisy on high ISO, it would still be a better choice due to more direct control of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, bigger sensor, interchangeable lens.
