Looking for a good brand for a digital camera?

I don't plan to spend over 100$ for this camera.
I had Kodak digital cameras before but I heard their new cameras are not that great.
What brand do you recommend? I've heard of Nikon, Canon and Olympus are good.
How high should I go for megapixels? Should I stay between 12-14?
Looking for a camera that can take great pictures in any type of lighting and also that can take videos.
I've heard of ISO performance? What is it? I heard it ranges from 100 to 3200. What number should my camera have to make sure it provides good quality pictures?

You won't get much in that price range.
Avoid Kodak, Benq, Vivitar and GE - while this will greatly limit your options, you'll probably get something that works until the warranty runs out.

For $100.00 you won't get much. Get a Canon or Nikon entry level compact. If you want great low light performance, you need to raise your budget about 10 times and take some photography classes. Get a Canon A800, it's really the only thing in your price range.

AS others have said $100.00 won't cut it You need $140-$150.
Forget megapixels, All cameras from known manufacturers have enough megapixels! You should try and keep your ISO to ISO 200 or smaller. Use Small lens openings or f/stops of f/8, f/11, f/16, or f/22.
My favorite in your price range is Fuji Finepix S2950 @ $155.00

I bought myself a Nikon s3300 to keep in my purse. It's a nice little camera, 6X zoom, 16mp. It's about the same size as my phone. Not good for people with small hands. I got it on sale for 100.00. Could be better in low light.
