One that take good picture and small enough to fit in my purse. I tried the nikon 3300, but I didn't like it, the battery died without no warning.went from half full to "battery exhausted" in a few minutes. I tried the samsung PL120 but the pictures came out fuzzy. I had a kodak camera previously but kodak do don't make digital cameras anymore. Any good suggestions? I'm not interested in the bulky cameras.

Unless you actually visit a store and try out a bunch of cameras, you will not be satisfied

The Nikon S3300 is a very inexpensive P&S camera. My guess is that you have unrealistic expectations of such a camera.

Batteries just do not die for no reason. The S3300 uses a Li-ion battery and can take up to 210 shots on a fully charged battery, but you have to learn to use energy management by turning off the camera between shots and keep the LCD turned off as much as possible. Using flash will also reduce the number of shots the camera can take on a full charge

Fuzzy? Do you mean blurred caused by camera movement during long exposures?

You don't give a budget so I'll just recommend a couple of good cameras.
- Canon PowerShot ELPH 310 HS
- Nikon Coolpix S9100

All digital cameras are made to take good pictures. The actual quality of pictures you get however depend mostly on your skill. Any cameras can only be as good as its user.
