Looking to buy a cheap digital camera, what brand is better?
Out of Olympus, Nikon, Lumix or even Sony?
Nikon
I always liked Canon but out of the choices you put up I would go with Nikon.
All of the ones you mention are very good brands.
Just steer clear of the cheaper Samsung, Vivitar and Fuji models.
My preference is to go with Nikon or Canon, but that is not to say that Panasonic Lumix or Sony's are not just as good. Just stick to these brands and you should be ok.
Doesn't work that way. Olympus, Nikon, Fuji, Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Casio, Samsung, and even Kodak all have various features and quality. First you decide on price, and then you decide based on what is sold at that price. At under $60, probably a Kodak At a few dollars more, maybe an Olympus VG 110. Decide you price, and whether you take a lot of movies, and whether you prefer it very lightweight. The lowest priced Nikon's are not very good. At $100, a Canon Powershott A3300 gets you 5x zoom, 16 megapixel, 720p movies, excellent brand, the best optical image stabilizer, face detection, redeye reduction, but you still need the SD card with all cameras
Either of the three, Nikon, Lumix or Sony. I don't prefer Olympus though many people like it. Try seeing or reading reviews of cheap at the same belongs to the top digital cameras 2011-2012. I found this in Google - http://www.topdigitalcamerassite.com/
