What are the cons of using nikkor lenses on a canon?

I'm a ameture photographer that has 3 nice lenses for a Nikon D3000 and I got a Canon t2i which produces better pictures! I was wondering if I would lose quality if i use the Adapter to make the Nikkor lenses work on the canon or lose anything else that is different from the canon lenses? I heard you lose autofocus but thats just it. But I don't know what else I'd lose!

I'd sell the Canon body & buy a Nikon D3200.

You'll lose autofocus, aperture control and all but Av and M modes - changing systems is monumentally stupid.

Your choice here is to either buy a Nikon body or Canon lenses.

You need to seattle on one brand and that's it. You have or had a Nikon D3000, but the Canon t2i produces better pictures. It appears to me that you are more comfortable with the Canon product and your skills improve with the Canon. Therefore sell you Nikkor lenses and stick with one brand Canon.

On one hand you speak of increased quality and on the other you want to shave dollars to use the Nikkor lens. Doesn't make sense my friend.

The cons are pretty simple… Nikkor is made specifically for Nikon and the same is true of Canon lenses.

You'll lose your mind especially if the lightmeter won't work! Absolutely no Auto mode in this case. Are you willing to risk that?

You have three choices. Sell the lenses to buy a Canon lens, sell the camera to buy a Nikon body, or sell all and get a Pentax body and lens.

Whatever dSLR you use, you get the same quality. That applies only if you don't rely on luck.
