I want a lens that can focus up close with the 1:1 ratio. What ratio is this lens?
Sorry i'm an amateur and don't know the correct terms.
I don't know but many lenses will go down to 2 1/2 feet.
A 1:1 ratio means the lens is half way to the object.
You would want the Nikkor 40 mm macro lens.
Only macro lenses will give you a 1:1 image to subject ratio.
What you are wanting is called a macro lens which, for reasons unknown, Nikon calls micro lenses.
Here is a list of Nikon micro (macro) lenses.

Sigma and Tamron also offer macro lenses in a Nikon mount.
A lens which will focus to 1:1 is called a macro lens. (NB some lense that focus to 1:4 are also called 'macro' by some manufacturers, though really they shouldn't be called 'macro').
So you need to look at the specs of any lens you are interested in and see if it offers 1:1.
