Which camera lens to buy (confused)

My camera Nikon D5000, currently kit lense nikkor 18-55mm.
my interest is to get an all rounder type of lens for both indoors and outdoors.preferably Nikkor.
reasonable price.
please advice me.

An all around lens isn't the best choice in terms of quality in general. In order to get a good one it ain't cheap.
So, you probably have to make a choice- quality lens or cheap lens?

As for indoors you will need an f/2.8 or better lens to shoot indoors. To shoot in most homes you will need an f/1.8 or faster lens. And in many many cases you'll also need flash.
There just plain isn't an all in one lens that goes from wide to telephoto that can do that. The quality would be seriously compromised and the cost would be prohibitive even for a high end lens.
