I want to buy a Nikon DSLR camera but I don't know what one to buy

I'm in the photography business and I've read that many articles it's not funny! I want to buy a new Nikon DSLR but when I think I've found the one I want. I read something negative about it.
Please give me some ideas and what's good about them!

Find a camera that does what you need. Do not worry what it does not do as long as you do not need it to do that.

No camera can do everything equally well… I would expect someone in the photography business to know that…

Nothing negative about DSLRs unless you mean the prices of the really good ones like the Nikon D4s just released.

My opinion anyway.

Go for the D4. The D3x is nice.

An FX camera might give you top quality, but you need FX lenses, and very good ones, and plenty of them. Getting the lens to be sharp to the corner of an FX frame is hard, and prosumer lenses that offer a lot of zoom range will do that poorly.

It would help if you gave us some idea of the budget you have available to spend…
