Nikon lens problems?

In the summer I was planning on buying a d600, and I was wondering if the lenses required for that are any different to that of a d3200 or something for example? Does the lens have to be a certain type or something?

You'll want lenses designed for a full-frame FX camera not the DX lenses you probably use on a D3200.
Using DX lenses on a full frame camera body cuts the usable pixels down to a minimal amount just to get the lens working… On my D3 (12Mp) it cuts the pixels down to 5.1Mp. The reason for this is that DX lenses project a smaller image to suit the APS-C sensor. This won't happen when using FX lenses.

No difference and actually, you would have more choices with the D600 if you can't live without AF.

The D3200 requires the following:
- AF-I/AF-S lenses for AF/AE
- AI-P/AF/PC-E lenses for MF/AE
- AI/AI-S/PC lenses for MF/no meter
- DX or FX lenses
D600 requires:
- AF/AF-S/AF-I lenses for AF/AE
- PC/PC-E/AI/AI-S/AI-P for MF/AE
- DX lenses at reduced resolution (also narrows field of view)
- FX lenses at full resolution.
D600 has more legacy compatibility, but because the larger sensor, DX lenses won't give full coverage. D3200 has no CPU or AF motor, so requires a CPU lens (AI-P/AF/AF-I/AF-S/PC-E) for metering, and motorised lenses (AF-I/AF-S) for autofocus.AF and AI-P lenses will only give focus confirmation.
