Nikkor lens problems?

I used a chinese immitation of MB-D10 battery pack to a D700 with 2 lenses. Now the first one (24-120mm VR) appears a F-- to the camera and the other one (18-200mm DX) can't auto focus. Any suggestions?

Call Nikon and see what they say, but your camera may have to make a trip to Nikon for repair.

Normal cause of a F-- is an error with the aperture ring. However, both these lenses don't have such a ring.
You can clean the electronic contacts on the body, see if that helps. Next, remove that fake grip and see what happens. IF all else fails, contact nikon.
