Nikon D3200 Target Bundle?

I'm seriously considering buying the Nikon D3200 from either Beach Camera or Target, the bundle with the 18-55mm and the 55-200mm. I was looking at the pictures and the description and I wanted to make sure both of the lenses include vibration reduction. Do both lenses have this technology? I usually shoot images of rocket launches and I really need it to be as still as possible with a powerful telephoto. If possible, I would like to go with Beach Camera if they have VR lenses, since they are running a really good deal with a free Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 CD. Also, do you think the D3200 is a good camera for a entry level photographer?

There's NO reason why you should think you need VR on your lenses.

When shooting any thing handheld, even with the VR on the lens turned on, you will not prevent blur of the subject. That is a function of the shutter speed of the camera, like 1/500th second or faster. When you use such a shutter speed, VR will not matter a bit.

I have three lenses with VR and only rarely need to use it.

I usually use VR when shooting indoors and using a flash will not capture the ambiance of the scene and even when shooting at ISO 3200, the shutter speed will be lower than about 1/60th second, but those assignments are rare.

If you learn how to hold the camera using the viewfinder, with the camera firmly next to your eye, left hand cradling the lens and right hand holding the camera with finger poised over the shutter release, you will rarely introduce camera movement that will spoil your shots

What does all this mean?
