Nikon d3100 can't be detected by breeze software?

Nikon d3100 can't be detected by breeze software via usb cable (came with the camera) on my msi cx61 laptop… On the other hand my nikon d3000 can be detected with the software and functions properly… Just wondering how to fix this issue maybe I just don't know how to fix the connection settings on my d3100

The Nikon D3100 isn't one of the Nikon cameras that they list as being compatible with their software.
