Is Nikon DSLRs cheaper in Saudi Arabia?

I'm planning to buy a Nikon D700, luckily my uncle is in Saudi Arabia right now. I want to know if it's cheaper to buy in KSA than USA. Somebody told me that it's cheaper in Saudi and I want to clarify if it's true. And I want to know the price range of Nikon D700 in Saudi Arabia if anyone can help me find it out.

If it is cheaper, which would surprise me since you guys get good deals already, then Nikon USA will not honor any warranty on it. In other words, if it breaks it needs to go back or you pay for it.

Silly to have the camera sent halfway around the world for the sake of saving not many dollars, endless paperwork and hassle if it is broken in transit. Think also of the guarantee, probably not valid in the USA. Think also of any customs hassle importing it to USA - maybe tax payable much more than the saving.
