If a 15-55mm Nikon lens is to big to take to an NHL game?

I'm going to a sens-leafs game this weekend and want to bring my Nikon D3100 so I can actually get some good pictures. I've heard there's a specific length that a camera lens has to be for it to be allowed into the arena. So, does anyone know the regulations that the Canadian Tire Centre, in Ottawa, has on camera lenses or any other rules I should know of before going to the game.

Best to contact the Sens directly with this inquiry. Look below:

Shouldn't be a problem

you are more likely to get hassled because they think you are a professional photog and they don't let commercial photography

just let them know it's not for sale… It's for yourself

If you are taking a camera bag… Make sure you ONLY take what you need and empty the rest out and have it easily accessiable to show security

A 15-55 is not an overly large camera. If you take the camera without a camera bag and the camera only it should be allowed. Even though the lens is detachable as long as you're not carrying a 210+ lens in might be acceptable.
