I need your suggestion in buying a Bag for my Nikon D800 (loaded with 24-70mm lens). I know that there are many bags available in market. But I need something where I can keep my D800 with its battery grip and lens hood without detaching them. I already have a bag but I have to detach both hood and grip every time.
Please suggest one with your experience. I would appreciate if you also give me the link for amazon.ca

I suggest the Lowepro SlingShot 202 AW. I have had it for 2 years now and use it to keep my Canon 7D with battery grip on all the time with my 24-70mm lens attached. It has enough room to hold 3 or for other lenses and other accessories like a speedlite and battery chargers. It has withheld through numerous trips to Iceland and other snowy/rainy climates. I highly recommend this bag.

I bought an old 1970s, large tan camera bag from Shopgoodwill.com that cost about $5.00.It holds my DSLR with 200 mm lens in one compartment, and a separate lens in another compartment. You don't need a fancy, expensive camera bag. That's kind of an invitation for someone to steal your camera and equipment.

I can't recommend nikon bags because i've never owned one.however, i do know about canon brand bags. All you have to do is use a black permanent marker over the metal canon logo. If you just plan to have a single lens and maybe a flash, get the 100EG bag. If you plan on getting a nikkor 70-200 to compliment that 24-70mm, get the 200EG canon backpack.
