Which D slr? Please suggest?

M vry new to this SLR world, I'm really confused as to wch slr camera should I buy, canon eos 550 or canon 600d or nikon d5100… 550d I a bit older model nw, I wana do good with videos also, but 600d is expensive 4 me… What should I do? Shd I extend my budget 4 600d or go in for 550d as they are alomst similar cameras with minor differences or the nikon d5100 Please suggest.

I only recommend what I own and therefore know - Canon. Any camera in the Rebel line will be an excellent choice. "Older"? What does that mean? Does that mean it's now a bad camera or what?

Older means nothing with dslr cameras.

I suggest you to opt for Canon digi cam as they are best in the industry.

Nikon Coolpix P500 is best option.
