What can I use to stabilizes my Nikon D5000 for video?
I need a stabilizer for my DSLR for video but I don't want to spend that much money because I'm still in school. Also I'm not going to be getting paid for anything I do yet. I was thinking of buying the camcaddie or something like it in similar price range.
Ask your instructor.
You may be able to check one out from the schools video lab.
Camcaddies are just fine and not too expensive when you compare the cost of an actual SteadiCam setup
Why not drop to one knee and brace your shooting elbow on the opposite thigh?
Mono- and tripods aren't to be sneezed at either.
Get a fluid head to go on a tripod or monopod. Ask for it as a birthday present or whatever?
See 2 of them, cheap and better in the vid.
