Added (1). Model is Nikon D60. It's been out since 2008 or 2010.

My aunt (who initially owns this camera) gave this to me during the year 2012 and we weren't using it much since then.

Now, I want to practice photography but I want to use updated an updated DSLR.

Wow, i have the Nikon d60 myself, i want to get rid of mine to because it doesn't have the capability to make movies., yes update it for sure.

I have several cameras. D60, D200, and D800. I also have whole bunch of film cameras.

I actually like D60. It's small and light. By now, it's worth nothing so I can carry it around without any concerns. It's far more capable than any modern pocket cameras. So I use it as such. When I really need all the capabilities, I take larger ones. When I can't or don't want to do that, then I take D60. It lets me do everything I want, except it's little slower.

I'd keep it. If you really want something better, then go for it. It's always nice to have a backup camera anyway.
