Good lens for nikon d50?

I'm looking for a good lens for d50 but not too expensive. Mainly for wedding or engagement shoots?

Added (1). Oh no not charging or anything its my brothers engagement and ill be taking pictures so just wanted a good lens.

The best lens for a D50 for general photography is the 18-55 mm lens. It costs less than $120 new.

However. Wedding and event photographers typically use the 24-70 mm f/2.8 ($1, 890) as well as a dedicated flash like the Nikon SB700 ($330)

IF you don't have that lens and want something with a bit more zoom, try this.

You may also need an external flash if the wedding is indoors. Get one that has TTL-compatibility with the D50 for trouble-free shooting.
