Will the Nikon 55-200mm VR lens work on a Nikon D50 camera?
I have been looking everywhere to find out whether the Nikon 55-200mm Vibration Reduction lens will work on the D50 camera. I know it will work on some of the other SLR cameras, but It doesn't say anywhere whether it will on the D50. Can someone help me out?
There should be no problem. A few years ago, I toured China with my trusty D70 and the Nikon 18-200mm VR lens. My daughter used one of my other cameras, a D50, along with a 28-300mm Sigma optic.
At times, we simply swapped lenses and found the lenses and bodies to be perfectly compatible. You should have no problem with the 55-200mm VR.
