Does the Sigma Ex Apo 70-200Mm 1:2.8D F/2.8 focus on the Nikon D5100?

Added (1). I'm wondering if I need to focus manually or if it will auto focus many thanks

I'm only having a guess here… I reckon it will work OK you would have to focus manually though… I'm going by the reference to D on the lens. I'm guessing Sigma would use the same lens spec code as Nikon.

I shoot with the D5100 I don't use autofocus though… It's not my thing… Sorry.

If the full name includes HSM (hypersonic motor) it can autofocus with the D5100. If not, then it does not.
