70-300mm with the higher aperature. If you're taking pictures in a moving vehicle the lower aperature might be better. Look for the iso ranges, the one with a higher ISO will be better for action shots, the one with a lower ISO will be better for landscape. But with low ISO, use a tripod to avoid shake.
Not telephoto. The 18-55mm is very well suited for this. You'll be wanting to take wide expanses in tight situations. Wide angle is better. Well that is unless you have something very specific in mind.
That would depend. A nikon 70-300vr is a good lens but a bit short for wildlife. A sigma 70-200 is a nice lens provided you get the hsm version but too short for wildlife and it's big. If you could make do with a slow variable aperture lens and 200mm I'd say look at nikon's 55-200 or 300 VR, nice lenses, compact and light.
