Can I put an SLR lens on a DSLR camera? - 1

I have an old SLR camera, with a Sigma lens that does macro, and a Nikon 5200 DSLR. Can I put my SLR lens on the Nikon?
Added (1). The camera itself is a ZX-50 Pentax, and the lens is a 70-300mm Sigma

You can use an SLR lens on a DSLR, but they have to have the same lens mount, and Pentax and Nikon do not have the same lens mount. You can use a lens mount adapter, although that may introduce some problems with the electronics with the lens, e.g., auto-focus not working.
So, to answer the question, yes you can. In your specific case, you can't use that lens on that camera.
