Will Nikon produce the F7?
Added (1). Lol the video add on is one of the main reasons I like the regular SLR's better. I don't like for a lot of the quality of a camera that I plan to take pictures with to be wasted on something I will never use (video).

No. Film is so much a niche product now that there will be no more R&D budget for new pro level cameras.

Ask Nikon! But in general terms further developments of film cameras seem unlikely.

No. The F6 is all the film camera anybody will need.
AF and metering haven't came on all that much.
Look at the advances: video, high ISO sensors, more megapixels, live view… Not one improvement that would translate to a film camera.
There are so many briliant condition f5's and f6's out there that may never be used ever again. The world doesn't need an F7.

I do not remember exactly when or where I saw this… But I do remember Nikon saying that the F6 is the last film camera that they will make. HOWEVER recently film has been making a comeback, and I would not be surprised to find out that Nikon made a new film camera in a few years from now.
