Why won't my nikon camera turn on?

Ok, so I was kind of in a rush one day so I charged it a little and and took the camera with me to a friend's house… It worked fine there, but it started acting a little weird. I decided to charge it a day later (more than it was supposed to). When I tried turning it on in the end, it wouldn't turn on! Now I don't know what to! Can someone help and tell me what I need to do to get it working again As soon as possible?

My Nikon Camera won't turn on, and when the battery's fully charged in stops blinking and then I put it in but it doesn't helps and I just see a green light flashing, and I also see the grid lines in the lens
