Why does the nikon j1 pictures always comes out blurred?

Using the 'still picture mode' on the J1, the pictures always come out blurred… What settings should i use on my new Nikon J1 to take better pictures please help.

Put the camera in auto mode.

Blurred photos are user error 100 percent of the time if the camera is not defective.

Make sure that your shutter speed is set to 1/250th second or faster to prevent blur
