Who Want to Explain Cameras to Me?

Ken
Ken

I've been fascinated by the beauty of photography ever since my school offered it as a class. However, they stopped after one month and I was reassigned (this was before any actual learning was done).
Going forward, I was looking for a camera when I was amazed by the Nikon J1, Fujifilm Finepix series, DSLR cameras, mirrorless, and many more.
On the contrary, I understand little to none of what the reviews are saying.
I understand the meaning of megapixels, videos, fps, and a few more basics. I just need to know a little more so I can definitely choose a camera that I'll love.

The first camera's in the early 1800's were b&w pinhole camera's. The photos were just as fantastic as any Litz camera, or Nikon today so you can see if you are great with composition most camera's will serve you well.

Nothing beats a DSLR. Try an entry-level one such as the Nikon D3200, good way to pick up photography. And do a lot of reading on the web for tutorials. Some photo touch-up skill might be good as well.

Question #1: Are you serious in learning photography? If yes, you have no choice. Get a dSLR. If no, get the Finepix. If maybe, Select from the J1, mirrorless and other hybrids.

Question #2: What is your budget? From there, get the most expensive you can afford. All dSLR's are basically the same but the more expensive they are, the more satisfaction they give. It goes true mor or less with the other types of cameras.

Question #3: Why worry about specs? If you don't know much about the specs then stop worrying about them now. When you get a dSLR, you'll soon realize that it's the user that matters more. If you got another camera, that's when you'll learn that you should've gotten a dSLR instead.
