Which is better nikon or cannon?

Nikon

Among those I'm partial to canon. But what level of camera are you talking about? Is it a digital camera or camcorder?
If it's a point-and-shoot, Panasonic has better bang for the buck.

'Canon,' has only one, 'N,' but only intelligent people (who know there are more than two camera manufacturers) know that.
DSLR - Pentax and Olympus do the same job, Sony's SLTs do better video.
Bridge Cameras - Fujifilm are better than either.
If you're even thinking about an EVIL camera, you aren't ready for anything serious.
Cheap - you'll pay more money for fewer features if you go with either.
Normally I'd tell people to avoid Kodak, Benq, GE and Vivitar - but anyone asking this question deserves the grief they bring.

For taking pictures, Nikon.
For blowing your enemy out of the water, Cannon.
