Which digi-cam is better? Sony canon nikon or any other comparatively?

than videos

Depends on your price range and how important those videos are. If video quality is most important then Sony's SLT-A77 and SLT-A65 are cream of the crop, the difference in construction means that the A77 can video for longer periods than the A65 before the sensor overheats (common to ILC's that shoot video). If video is not so important then you may want to look at Nikon instead.

Those three brands are certainly at the top of the market, and there are a few more brands that run them very close. It's more about the particular model or price of camera and whether its features will do what you want.
