Where do they have a good selection of woven camera straps?

I'm looking for a woven camera strap for my new DSLR camera (Nikon). I've looked at Etsy.com & phatstraps.com, but they don't have any I really like. Do you guys know another website with woven (hippie-esque) camera straps?

You will have to go to a hardware store and buy a couple of little split-ring key rings to attach the strap to your camera.

The best answer is some flea market in Africa. The africans like weaving things.

Nikon DSLRs come with a Nikon strap.

The problem with the strap that comes with the camera is that it flaunts the brand of the camera. More importantly, one of the critical functions of a strap is to hold the camera on your body, and too many straps are too slippery to effectively do that.

I found a good selection of straps at B+H in New York, one of which was made of leather and had a rough back that would not slip on ordinary clothing.

This will not literally answer your question, but I hope you will give it some attention.

The typical camera strap is nearly worthless to me. When you simply walk, the camera flails all over, and forget about bending over or making any other movements. There are other, far better, alternatives to the typical camera strap that are functional in a way that a strap around your neck can't be.
