All the full frame cameras are made in Japan
Most of the cropped frame cameras are made in Thailand in Nikon manufacturing sites under the control of Nikon engineers and quality control managers from Nikon Japan.
Critical components are made in Japan.
Some lenses are made in Japan and some in Thailand

If you are thinking that the quality of the cameras designed by Japanese camera companies and assembled in other countries is different based upon which country, you are mistaken

The best ones are still made in Japan. Others I've seen were made in China, Thailand, and Indonesia.
