Is the Nikon SB600 flash still being made for purchase?
My husband is trying to buy the above flash for his NIKON D90 but it seems very difficult to find it and buy as brand new. The only places we can find them are eBay (2nd hand) or sites from the USA. Does anyone know why this is?
SB600 is not manufactured any more. Replacement model is the SB700 which is $320 (about $100 more than what the SB600 cost).
You can get them from Amazon (UK) - http://www.amazon.co.uk/...tive=19450
Adorama still offer new SB600's altho costly
It's been replaced by the SB700. The SB600 may be still sold as leftover stock, though since it was v.popular I doubt you'll find any.
