What Video Quality With An 8GB Memory Card?

So i'm going to a Simple Plan concert tomorrow night and i've got a Nikon digital camera with a 8GB memory card. I have to go wit my mum cause of age limit things (which suck) be she's agreed to film it for me, so hopefully she'll film most the concert.

Because i only have a 8GB card i want to hold as much video as i can and in good quality. There's options on the camera which you can select to use and i want to know which one will be good quality but won't fill up my 8GB card for atleast an hour but hopefully close to 2 if possible.

Movie options are:
HD 1080p (1920x1080)
HD 720p (1920x1080)
iFrame 540 (960x540)
VGA (640x480)
HS 240 fps (320x240)
HS 120 fps (640x480)
HS 60 fps (1280x720)
HS 15 fps (1920x1080)

I have no idea what any of this means so i'd really appreciate any advice!

Well usually the camera will show how much time of recording you have based on what resolution/quality the camera is currently set at. Obviously the better the quality the less time you have. So if anything go through those options & see how much time the camera says you have of recording time & whichever meets your 1-2 hours & is not too bad of quality would be the one to go with.

Most nikon cameras do not allow video taking for more than 30 minutes because of heat issues with the sensor. To get even that long, you will need to dummy down the resolution to VGA.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you Mom's going to shoot the video, get it home, you transfer the footage to your computer and this is what you will hear. The bands biggest fan, who was sitting two rows in front of you, stomping their feet, whistling, clapping yelling, laughing and making all kinds of noise, will be the prominent audio. The music, made by the band will be background audio, if you can hear it at all. It is not your Mothers fault. It happens this way because of the way all camcorder microphones work. They are designed to pick up their best audio at about 4 or 5 feet from the camcorder.

And the sad part, if isolate the audio from the clip, take this to Audio Editing software program, they are designed to eliminate background noises, which the band is.
