What photography gear would you personally get for £1000?

Just wandering saw a video on youtube about this and just wandered what you would get
Personally i would get Nikon 3200 18-55, Nikon J1 10-30, A cheap carrying bag and 2 class 10 8gb memory cards.

I would personally buy the Nikon D3200 with the 18-55 mm (£515) and 55-200 mm lens (£300) with your budget. It would leave enough to buy six or so 4 gb class 10 memory cards and a good backpack.
Do you have a fast computer? With Intel i5 or faster CPU?
I would also suggest you save your pennies and buy a copy of Adobe Lightroom 4.

Well, I've already got the Nikon D7000 that I wanted, so given another £1000 I would probably buy a 10-24mm AFS-DX, and a 50mm f1.4 AF-D plus a copy of DXO Optics Pro.
- Do you like the Nikon D5000 personally?
- What camera to get? Under 1000 dollars would be wonderful?
- What would you do? Would you buy a refurbished lens?
- On my Nikon D3400 when you try to take a video, a little mic with a line goes through it and when you get the finished product of you?
- Is my gear appropriate to learn photography?
