What Nikon camera is best for high quality filming?

I'm thinking about making a youtube channel & wanted to know what Nikon camera would be best used for film, I want a camera that is $1, 200 at the most. I also wan't to use it for pictures, please help.

More resolutions, more frame rates, more control…

The D7000 is a step in the right direction, so long as you are happy with 24fps. Not great for use on TV.

There aren't any digital cameras for "filming". Film is in Hollywood and way more expensive than
recording video - that by the way is what you call it - video. Film is a completely different media.

Any of the Nikon dslr cameras capable of doing video will do an excellent job. I believe they start at about $650.

If you are more into videos you might be better off buying a camcorder - Sony, Panasonic and Canon have good camcorders.

If you want a dSLR camera with video capabilities, Canon 600d, Canon 60d and Lumix GH2 are best for video. Nikon is the best photography camera, but they are not the best for video, however, as someone said above Nikon d7000 is actually capable for very good video quality.
