What kind of Camera Brand is best?
I'm getting more & more into PHOTOGRAPHY & i'm looking for a camera to buy.
What would you guys recommend?
- Looking for a camera that takes good quality pictures.
I heard Nikon was pretty good, is this true?
Someone please help.
So have you set your budget yet?
If money isn't an issue nearly $43, 000
Try looking at Hasselblad Medium Format Cameras.

By your question you are looking into a point & shoot camera. There's No best between Fuji, Canon, Sony, Nikon, Olympus and Panasonic. Better read what the features are on different cameras. It helps a lot knowing how much you're spending. Stay away from Sanyo, Vivitar, Kodak GE and Holga brands.

This question gets asked 20 times a day. Why do people nearly always ask without saying what they can afford to spend? I can recommend a camera costing from about £100 to nearly £100, 000
What do you consider to be "good quality"? Good enough to look at on a screen or good enough to blow up to 30"x24" enlargements?
Yes, Nikon make good cameras. So do Canon. And Sony, Pentax, Panasonic, Fujifilm and Olympus.
Is size an issue? Does it need to fit in a pocket? Does it have to be waterproof? Do yo need just stills or is video important?
What are you going to use it for? No point getting a £200 compact for studio shooting and no point getting a £20k Hasselblad for a pocket camera - and neither is going to be much cop for video.
Just a clue would be helpful. Or at least no so vague FFS!
