What is the difference between full HD video and HD movie mode on dslr cameras?
I'm looking to buy a DSLR camera. Either canon or nikon. I'm looking on Best Buy.com and on one camera it says full HD video and the other Hd movie mode. I just want one thats able to shoot video.
Buy either of those, they shoot video. Did you make sure your computer can handle your HD video. Hd video needs a Multi Port Processor, 2 will do, 4 is better. It also needs a 1 GB Graphics card and a sound card, both those need to able to work with Direct X® 9 or better. Any spec less than that your HD video from your HD camcorder will skip and not play properly and be a nightmare to try and edit.
There's no difference. They are both exactly the same but with different names. I would personally recommend Nikon because Canon over charge you for the basics. My cheap camera of choice is the Nikon D5100. Very good. I used it in this video if you want to see what the footage looks like:
Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR with 18-55mm IS II Lens and EOS HD Movie Mode (Black) is best dslr camera.
