It depends how old.
The D7000 autofocuses with AF lenses, and meters with MF lenses (unlike the D3000/D5000), but no Nikon model will autofocus with MF lenses.

The D90 is the oldest and least expensive camera you can currently still buy new that has an internal focusing motor. This will allow focusing AF lenses, but not manual focus lenses.
Even the design is 5yr old, the D90 is still a great camera.
