What DSLR camera weight?
The Nikon d5300 DSLR camera Weight is 16.9 oz. (480 g). How heavy is 16.9 oz. (480 g).
16.9 oz or 480 g. It weighs 18% more than a pound of bacon. Your question is like asking how long 12 inches is.
The D5300 is not heavy at all. Its about 1 pound which is nothing. Its similar in weight to my old D60 which I can carry around with me all day.
Less than half a bag of sugar.
I only know those two systems (1lb = 16oz) and can visualise the Imperial one quite easily.
If you're stuck, find a set of scales and some dry sand, rice, or just about anything that forms a dry powder, weigh out 480g, pour it into a bag, and carry the bag around for a while.
Like 500ml a half litre of water. But then you have to add the weight of the lens another 265g if it is the kit lens.
Do you have kitchen scales? If so, try putting things on it until you get to 16.9 oz.
Why don't you go into a camera shop and actually try picking one up? Try hanging it round your neck to see how it feels. Then you will also be able to see what it feels like in your hands, whether the controls are easy to reach and use.
Buying cameras on specification alone is a bad idea. You need to try out several different models. You might find that large hands can't easily work some controls or that small hands don't feel comfortable with a large grip. We're all different and what is best for me isn't necessarily best for you. Ergonomics is just as important as any other feature.
