What are good lenses for the Nikon D3300. Telephoto lense and wide angle lens perferred?
"Good" depends on what you are going to use it for. If you want to take closeups of a football player during a game, a 14mm wide-angle isn't "best", even if it costs $2000.

The preferred wide angle zoom would be either the 10-24 mm or 12-24 mm Nikkor lenses
The preferred telephoto zoom would probably be one of the following based upon the actual subject you are shooting.
I shoot a lot of sports and here are the lenses I use for each sport
* Football (American or International) > 70-200 mm f/2.8, 200 mm f/2.0 and 300 mm f/2.8
* Basketball > 12-24 near court > 200 mm f/2.0 and > 300 mm f/2.8 cross court.
* Volleyball > 135 mm f/2.0 > 70-200 mm f/2.8
* Hockey > 70-200 mm f/2.8 on the glass > 300 mm f/2.8 from the photographers/videographers well
* Baseball > 24-70 mm f/2.8 shooting next to the dugout, > 300 mm f/2.8 and 400 mm f/2.8 shooting the pitcher, bases and batters
The choices of lenses has been developed over years of shooting sports and sometimes having a lens that is either too short or too long for the sport.
NOTE: I use both full frame and cropped frame cameras when shooting sports
