The 18-55mm AF-S VR kit lens it came with. Wider angle lenses with any decent quality will cost more.

Yes, the 18-55 mm lens is the least expensive wide angle lens available for your camera

The 12-24 mm costs $1,225 (I have had one since I bought my first digital SLR -- a Nikon D100 and it still does an amazing job) The 10-24 mm costs a little less, at $900.

Tokina makes some excellent third-party 12-24 mm and 11-16 mm wide angle lenses which cost about half of what a Nikkor lens costs.

However, either you have not done any research yourself (like visiting the Nikon or Tokina websites) or you just came up with a figure hoping that there might be a lens out there for you… Sorry

Agreed to the other answers. Most wide angle lenses are going to be much more than 200. The kit Lens is your best bet for the amount of money

If the 18mm of your kit lens isn't wide enough, try shooting panorama. There are lots of free software packages that will stitch two or more shots together.

The usual 18-55mm kit lens that comes with that camera is already wide angle, and its the cheapest one you will find. If you want something wider have a look for something in the 10-20mm range. You won't find one for $200, your budget is unrealistic.

You might be able to get a Samyang 8mm fisheye for under $200 if you look properly. Otherwise, the kit lens is the best you've got.
