Suggest an SLR with cheap price range but with good specs?

Interest in canon and nikon

Need more details. I would just throw out a T3 or a T2i by Canon or a D3000 or D5000 by Nikon.

SLR cameras use film, is that what you want? Many of those are available for around $150 these days. DSLR cameras are digital and start at about $500.

NOTE:
i have learned that if you buy cheap dslr you have to get costly lens for better image quality and performance. In that case the above 3 dslr are good for what you pay.
