Some good budget Nikon Lenses?

I bought a D5200 that came with the basic 18-55mm. I'm looking for something to shoot landscape and another one for wedding pictures. I was looking at the 55-200mm and the 18-200mm VRII but the VRII is so expensive! Any recommendation on a cheap lens?

When I ran into the high cost of Nikon lenses I looked at third party vendors such as Tamron, Sigma, and Tokina. As a word of caution, some of their lenses are junk and some of them of high quality. To separate the sheep from the goats, do due diligence. They all make lenses that will autofocus on your camera.

Unless you are willing to manually focus your lenses, you will need to stick with Nikkor AF-S lenses.

Both the lenses you want are not inexpensive.

The Nikkor 10-24 mm wide angle for shooting landscapes costs around $900 and the "wedding" and event lens you need is the 24-70 mm f/2.8 at $1,890. Both are AF-S lenses.

What you can do is spend a whole lot of time learning the fundamentals of photography with the lens you have and while you are doing that, save your pennies until you can budget for the lens you need.

It took me four months to save for my 24-70 mm lens and it was well worth saving for it.

There should be no big rush to buy just any economy lens in the focal length you need. Wait until you can budget of Nikkor glass and buy it as you can

I bought the 55-200mm VR refurbished. It looks / works good as new.
$200 might get you a 50mm 1.8 or 35mm 1.8.
